Indian Stock Market emerge best performer globally in 5 year period: Economic Survey
A sharp meltdown notwithstanding in 2008, Indian stock market has emerged as best performing equity market globally for a 5 year period ending December 08 with a return of 65.2%, the survey showed.
The economic survey released by finance ministry on July 2nd projected Indian economy to grow by 7% in 2009-10 with inflation no longer a worry but provided reforms measures take place.
